Part-time Organist/Pianist: Cooksville Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Cooksville, WI (about 10 minutes south of Stoughton) is seeking a part-time organist/pianist to support our worship life and music ministry. This individual will play during Sunday services approximately once per month, providing accompaniment on both the organ and piano. We are looking for someone who is passionate about church music and is eager to be part of a welcoming, faith-filled community. Specific expectations include playing at our 10:00 am service, a knowledge of both organ, piano, and is proficient at both. Compensation is $130.00 per service. The Director manages a unified musical program of liturgical music for all three churches. Serves as principal organist and choir director at the Madison church, accompanies two school Masses weekly during term, and does limited work with older students on liturgical music. The Director also accompanies almost all weddings and funerals in the parish (separately compensated). Prior experience in similar position required; academic qualifications preferred.
