Associate Organist/Pianist: Grace Lutheran Church-ELCA in Dodgeville, WI is looking to fill our part-time (once monthly) Associate Organist/Pianist position. Under the direction of the Director of Music Ministries, the Associate Organist/Pianist gives leadership to the worship services of Grace Lutheran Church by guiding, equipping, and accompanying the congregation in the praise of God. Once monthly, the ideal candidate would play organ (preferably) or piano at the 8:00 AM traditional service and play piano for the 10:30 contemporary service, as well as playing for occasional funerals. Organist: The United Methodist Church in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking a parttime organist, starting date to be determined. This is a shared position with another organist on Sundays throughout the year and as scheduled for special services. The two organists work out a playing schedule so that each person plays two Sundays per month; and covers fifth Sundays when they occur. The organ is a digital Rogers T927. Associate Director of Music & Worship: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (ELCA) of Madison & Verona, WI seeks an Associate Director of Music & Worship to lead and nurture the worship life and music programing at Good Shepherd’s Verona Campus. This includes rehearsing and leading worship bands, planning music and liturgy for worship services, expanding music offerings and looking for opportunities to develop new music groups, and assist with ongoing music events and innovative programming across both campuses. Interested candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in music or other equivalent level of certification, advanced piano proficiency; organ desired, but not required; 5 years of experience in related music ministry field, and audio/visual technology experience desired. This is a salaried position averaging 32 hours a week with eligibility for benefits. We expect the position to start this summer. Organist: First Congregational United Church of Christ, 724 E. South River Street, Appleton, WI a vibrant congregation of 1,500 members, is accepting applications for its half-time organist position. (Möller/Sipe organ, three manuals, six divisions, fifty-eight ranks; Steinway B Grand Piano.) The position includes (but is not limited to): playing Sunday morning services and special services during Advent and Lent; accompanying Wednesday evening rehearsals; playing weddings and memorials; planning worship with clergy and Director for Music Ministries; possible accompanying or directing of additional ensembles. This established music ministry offers multiple vocal and handbell choirs, performs major choral/orchestral works, hosts concerts/recitals, and offers its Lawrence University Music Scholars program. Choir Director:The United Methodist Church in Lodi, WI is seeking a Choir Director to develop and integrate choral and ensemble music into worship. Specific duties include: prepare, rehearse (on Wednesday evening) and direct choir (Sunday morning); form and rehearse small ensembles and performers for worship and music ministry as necessary; and organize, rehearse, and direct Christmas Cantata with people from the local community. The choir sings at least one Sunday every month during the school year, September through May. This is a salaried position based on approximately 10 hours/ month for nine months of the year. Music Minister: Trinity Episcopal Church in Janesville, WI is seeking a Music Minister, who is responsible for nurturing the prayer life of the community through music, particularly in coordinating music for liturgical celebrations and fostering the growth of Trinity’s music ministry.
