Contemporary Praise Band Accompanist: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church—Central Campus is looking for a Contemporary Praise Band (Cornerstone) Accompanist for 10:45 am Sunday morning worship. The group rehearses most Tuesday evenings, with a warm-up and worship on Sunday morning. Previous experience playing in a praise ensemble, reading printed notation and lead sheets, is important for this year-round position. Choir Accompanist/Pianist: Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe, WI is seeking a skilled pianist to accompany our adult choir at our Wednesday evening rehearsals (September through May). The candidate should have excellent playing skills across a wide range of styles. Responsibilities include playing for weekly and special services, and accompanying Wednesday evening choir rehearsals as needed; opportunities to play for funerals and weddings. Two-manual, 32-rank Hammes-Foxe pipe organ and Steinway baby grand piano. $200 - $285 per Sunday offered based on 10 hours/week. Children's Choir Director: Covenant Presbyterian Church in Madison, WI is seeking a Children’s Choir Director, 6-8 hours/week, to develop and maintain a comprehensive music program for children grades K-5. Responsibilities would include recruiting choir members, leading rehearsals on Sunday mornings, directing the choir in worship once a month, meeting with staff for worship and special event planning, and providing communication for parents. Special events could include a Christmas pageant, Vacation Church School, Sunday School Sing-alongs and community outreach opportunities. Position is 10 months/year.
