Music at Oakwood Village

Presented by members of ACM for both the public and residents of Oakwood Village, this annual event features a variety of music using a lovely, small tracker organ built by Bruce Case, all in the intimate setting of Oakwood's Resurrection Chapel.

This year's hour-long program is being coordinated by Jean Boehler, and will include the following performers and program:

  • S. Karg-Elert: Church Kantata; Mary Monkmeyer, organ
  • G.F. Handel: Sonata in D Major; Spencer Howard, violin and Jean Boehler, organ
  • R. Hebble: Variations on An American Hymn ; Marlys Mittelstadt, organ
  • W. Mozart: Piece for an organ clock; Matthew Piel, organ
  • F. Peeters: Aria; Sterling Anderson, organ
  • Saint-Saens: Priere; Robert Eversman, violin and Jean Boehler, organ
  • C. Gounod: Funeral March of a Marionette; Don DeBruin, organ
  • Reincken: Fuga; Don DeBruin, organ
  • G. Faure: Kitty Waltz; Nancy Becknell & Susan Udell, piano duet
